Who We Are


“THE CRAZY MOUNTAINEERS” is an initiative to promote ‘eco’ and responsible trekking in the Himalayas. It is a cluster initiative under the aegis of “Society for Integrated Rural Development initiatives (SIRDI) Dehradun , a registered society under the “Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860”. Its having its regional base at Sanskari (Distt. Uttarkashi). It is a group of experienced Trekkers, Mountaineers, Environmentalists and Social Workers dedicated for promoting the cause over the last one decade.


To organise and encourage mountaineering, hiking, trekking, rock climbing HomeStay, BikeTrip and other sports in Himalayan region for all those who have the love for nature and thirsty for exploring the unexplored ways.We prefer Average size of groups 10 to 15 trekkers


Co-ordination is the unification, integration, synchronization of the efforts of group members so as to provide unity of action in the pursuit of common goals. It is a hidden force which binds all the other functions of management
